Our services are available for private car sellers, dealers and traders. They must be represented by persons who are authorized to enter into legally binding contracts in accordance with the legislation in effect.

In order to register with SafeTrade, sellers, dealers and traders must provide legitimate ID, company and VAT credentials. They are also required to allow us to check their activities. For this reason, they must provide us with their NACE codes.

After you have made your bid, you are unable to cancel it until the item is delivered. Once the item is delivered you can decide if you want to keep it or not.

Every contract is binding. If your offer is accepted and the vehicle is sold to you, you cannot cancel your bid before the delivery has been made. The payment must be made.

If you refuse to pay? You will be breaking a legal contract. Aside from the obvious legal ramifications, your account will be blocked from the SDE system.

Each member of the Buyer Community has the possibility to submit a binding offer for the purchase of such set of Vehicles from COTW Group, by submitting an Offer (Purchase price out of Taxes and costs) at which such member of the Buyer Community offers to purchase such Vehicles from COTW Group (“Buyer Community Offers”).

You won the auction and the seller assigned the vehicle to you? Congratulations! Now you just need to get it to your doorstep. We are happy to arrange transport for you.

You can order transport:

      • During your confirmation process;
        • Or by sending an email to your

customer service contact

      . In this case, the transport invoice will be separate from the purchase invoice.

We will deliver the vehicle to an address of your choosing, or to a pickup hub near your location. Just let us know what suits you best.

Own transport

Please note that you are welcome to arrange transport yourself. You still need to make sure you the necessary documents with you.

If you do win an auction, certain mandatory fees apply. They include country-specific import fees, auction fees and fees for the related customs documentation. Please always remember to take these costs into account when it comes to international delivery.

(Example: a Belgian car is sold to Romania)

Transport fees

Don’t forget that when you order transport with us, you will face a transport fee. This depends on your location and the location of the vehicle you purchase.

The best way to follow up on your purchases is through your SDE account. When we have received your payment, you can easily see it in your account. The vehicle will move from To be paid into Not ready for pickup. The E-invoice will also appear under My invoices.

You will also receive an email from us as soon as your payment has been confirmed by our bookkeepers and your invoice processed.
